Veneers live or die on shape and shade. Because our lab is inside the US-259 building, the technician can see your face, your lip line, and your existing teeth in person rather than working from photographs.

We can mock up the proposed shape in your mouth so you see the result before a single tooth is prepared. If something is not right, it gets changed at that stage rather than after.
Conservative Preparation
Veneers require removing a small amount of enamel, and that is not reversible. We prepare conservatively and will tell you when bonding or whitening would achieve what you want without veneers at all.
Sedation Available
Preparing several veneers in one sitting is a long appointment. IV sedation from our in-house CRNA means Longview patients can have it done comfortably in fewer visits.

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain bonded to the front surface of a tooth. It changes color, shape, length, and the appearance of alignment all at once, which is why veneers are the treatment behind most of the dramatic smile transformations people see. They are also permanent in an important sense: preparing a tooth for a veneer removes enamel, and enamel does not grow back.
That is why our first job, at a comprehensive exam with one of our Longview doctors, is working out whether veneers are actually what you need. Teeth that are simply discolored may respond to whitening. A single chipped edge may only need bonding. Crowding sometimes calls for orthodontics instead. When veneers genuinely are the right answer, we say so and explain exactly how many teeth are involved and why.

Shade matching for veneers is unforgiving, because the result sits next to your natural teeth in daylight, and a technician who can look at your face in person gets closer than one working from a shade tag and a photo. It also means adjustments during the try-in stage happen while you are in the chair.
