Front-Tooth Matching
Shade Approved in Person
A front crown that is a shade off is obvious every time you smile. With the lab on-site, Gladewater patients can have the match verified in the chair before it is finalized.
Gladewater, TX · Bridges & Crowns
Matching a single front crown to the teeth beside it is the hardest thing a lab does. Our Longview office on US-259 is about 15 minutes east of Gladewater, and having the technician in the building means the shade gets checked against your actual smile rather than a written prescription.

Why Patients Choose Us
Front-Tooth Matching

Fifteen Minutes East
Crown treatment usually means an exam, then a prep visit and a seat visit, depending on the case. At 15 minutes down US-80, Gladewater and Upshur County patients can keep each one easily.
Crowns After Root Canals
A tooth that has had a root canal loses moisture and can split under normal chewing. A crown is what keeps that tooth in your mouth for the long run.
Bridges
Gaps shift the teeth around them over time. A fixed bridge stops that drift and restores chewing, and we compare it against an implant before you decide.
Take 60 seconds to tell us about your smile and we’ll help you schedule the right appointment.
There is a real difference between a crown on a back molar and a crown on a front tooth. A molar needs strength above all, so zirconia usually wins. A front tooth needs to disappear among its neighbors, which takes layered porcelain and a technician who can see the surrounding teeth in person. For Gladewater patients, that technician is about 15 minutes east at our Longview office on US-259.
The most common reasons we crown a tooth are a crack, a filling that has outgrown the tooth around it, or a root canal that has left the tooth brittle. Root-canaled back teeth in particular tend to split without full coverage, and a split usually cannot be repaired, so the crown is what keeps the tooth rather than a cosmetic upgrade.
When a tooth is already missing, a bridge spans the gap using the teeth on either side. It works well and it does not involve surgery, but it does mean preparing two healthy teeth. If those neighbors are untouched, we will often suggest looking at an implant instead, and we lay out both costs in writing so the choice is yours rather than ours.

“I went in with bad teeth for the past 20 years and was scared to death. I'm one day post-op and feel no pain. The staff, from the receptionist to the assistants to the doctor himself, were encouraging and friendly throughout the entire journey. They changed my life.”
