Fifteen Minutes North
Simple Prep and Seat Trips
Crown treatment usually means an exam, then a prep appointment and a seat appointment, depending on the case. From Flint each is a short drive up FM 2493, so the process does not disrupt much.
Flint, TX · Bridges & Crowns
Flint sits about 15 minutes south of our Tyler office up FM 2493. For crown work that proximity matters at the seat appointment, when a bite that feels a fraction high needs adjusting and the lab is a few steps down the hall rather than in another city.

On-Site Tyler Lab
If the new crown feels high or the contact is tight, it is corrected in Suite 100 while you wait rather than sent back to a lab.
Worn Teeth
Grinding wears teeth down gradually until the bite collapses. Crowns can restore that height, and we plan it across the arch rather than one tooth at a time.
Bridges
A bridge restores chewing where a tooth is missing and stops the neighbors from drifting into the space. We compare it with an implant before anything is prepared.
Take 60 seconds to tell us about your smile and we’ll help you schedule the right appointment.
The seat appointment is where crown quality gets decided. The crown goes in, you bite down, and either it feels like your own tooth or it does not. When the lab is on-site, a high spot or a tight contact is adjusted in minutes. When it is out of town, the same problem means wearing a temporary longer and coming back. For Flint patients, our Tyler office on Rice Road is about 15 minutes north with the lab in Suite 100.
Crowns are indicated for cracked teeth, teeth with very large old fillings, and teeth that have had root canals, all of which are at risk of fracturing under everyday chewing. Wear is the other common reason: patients who grind can flatten their back teeth over the years, losing bite height, and rebuilding that takes planning across several teeth rather than one at a time.
For gaps, a bridge spans the space using the teeth on either side, which restores function and prevents drift. The trade-off is that those neighboring teeth have to be prepared. If they are healthy and untouched, an implant may be the better long-term answer, and we put both options and both prices in front of you.

“Dr. Kendall and his staff were great. I was a little apprehensive about the anesthesia, but the anesthesiologist explained every step and was so helpful. So happy I had this done for a better smile.”
